Known as “the Sound Painter” of the guitar for producing the most fascinating variety and scope in sound colours on the planet, Jan Depreter is considered among the top 10 of performing classical guitarists in the world today. A graduate of the Lemmens Institute Leuven and the Royal Conservatories of Antwerp and The Hague, Depreter holds several Master Degrees in Music. Jan Depreter has a deep love, academic knowledge and understanding about the classical guitar and as such enjoys excellent private relations with all top luthiers in the world. He also has one of the most formidable guitar collections in Europe. Jan Depreter currently lives with his cat Lelie in Antwerp, where he teaches guitar at the Academy of Deurne. Apart from reading Terry Pratchett novels he still feels playing the guitar is probably the most fun anyone could have by themselves.

Born in Sarajevo where he started playing guitar at the age of 10. Music of Vojislav Ivanovic, composer and guitarist, is one of astonishing diversity, ranging from contemporary classical and jazz thru fusion and rock to traditional music of the world. His diverse compositional output includes music for solo and accompanied instruments, choral, chamber and orchestral works. World's leading artists have performed his music extensively all over the globe.. In addition to his performance tours, composing and recording, Vojislav Ivanovic is highly sought after at the international festivals and competitions for his teaching and master classes in composition and guitar.

Boško Jović has graduated on Music Academy Sarajevo Department for Musicology in 2004, and the Department for solo guitar in Music Academy E. Sarajevo, in class of professor Zoran Krajisnik in 2006. He continued his education on post graduated study with professor Alexander Swete on Music Academy in Sarajevo (2010). He has played with various artists in different genres of music, such as Edin Karamazov, one of the world finest lute players, violoncello star Stjepan Hauser (2 Cellos) and Amira Medunjanin unique singer of "Sevdah", traditional music of Bosnia Herzegovina. He has performed in India, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Croatia, UK, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Montenegro, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovenia and Norway. He continued his education by participating in different seminars (with Egberto Gismonti, Leo Brouwer and other)
Serbia
Darko Karajić was born in 1964 in Šabac, Serbia. Before his formal studies, he learned guitar from Dušan Šaponja, Nadežda Kondić, Dušan Bogdanović, and Vera Ogrizović. Karajić has conducted masterclasses in Bar, Belgrade, Banja Luka, Novi Sad, Smederevo, Požarevac, Niš, Loznica, Šabac, Ankara, and other locations. He was the founder of lute studies in both elementary and secondary music schools in Serbia. He is a member of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia, the former Yugoslav Association of Classical Guitarists, and the London Lute Society.

Sanel Redžić is one of the most virtuosic guitarists of his generation. Known for his varied repertoire and lively performances, he is quickly becoming one of the most important figures on the international guitar scene. Since 2006, he has been constantly performing around the world, both solo and in various chamber ensembles and with orchestras, and has so far delighted the audience and the media at several hundred concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, China, Japan, India, Iran and USA. With the famous Bosnian-Herzegovinian band "Divanhana", Sanel constantly collaborates and expands his musical horizons beyond classical music. Evidence of this is numerous joint concerts and sound carriers.

Đani Šehu (1980, Sarajevo) received his primary and secondary music education in his hometown. After finishing high school, he began his guitar studies at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, in the class of Prof. Rafael Andia. In the year 2000, he moved to Vienna to study at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. He graduated in 2006 from the concert performance department for guitar under the guidance of Prof. Konrad Ragossnig and Prof. Alexander Swete. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Austria, France, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Spain, and more.
Welcome to Tuzla for the fourth edition of Tuzla Guitar Week! Over the past three years, we have created wonderful memories and built many new friendships, and I am excited to continue this beautiful journey together.
